I've been with Walden for 10 years, and teach the research design classes. I am also a URR, serve on the IRB, and chair dissertation committees. I attend two residencies a year.
My research work has been in human factors, user-computer interaction, and advance software; I've had practical experience as well as business school training in industrial/organization psychology, and organizational development.
I have a Bachelor's degree in English from the University of Notre Dame. I received my PhD from the University of Minnesota, a 7 year journey that I started only after I taught high school for a couple of years. Much of my career has been in industry, managing applied research and development. My research interests are consciousness, memory, and text comprehension. I specialize in experimental and quantitative methodologies.
I live in Saint Paul, MN, and have two grown children and two grandchildren. My wife is retired.
I've traveled extensively, and lived in France for 14 months. My spare time interests are literature, jazz, and European history.
