Dr. Suzanne O’Neill has worked in the field of education since 1989. Dr. O’Neill’s formal doctoral training is in educational leadership and special education programs. She has taught in the public schools of Florida for over 20 years as both a general and special educator. She worked as a district special education specialist before serving as a college-wide Director at a Florida state college.
Dr. O’Neill’s current research interests focus primarily on special education services as well as educational leadership. She joined Walden University in 2008 serving as a dissertation committee member and chair. Additionally, she currently teaches instructional intervention courses in the Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment Department at Walden.
