Dr. Susan K. Fan holds several nationally accredited degrees: a Bachelor of Science (BSBA) in Business Administration; and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the John Sperling School of Business from The University of Phoenix; and a Doctorate of Management (DM) in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix, School of Advanced Studies.
Dr. Fan has worked as a management professional in various leadership positions in the Silicon Valley for a number of years with Fortune 100 and Fortune 200 companies. A few examples of her professional experience include software design engineering, operations management, project management, international distribution channels establishment for new product marketing in Europe, Asia, and U.S. Dr. Fan is currently working as an adjunct faculty with Walden University and Kaplan University. She has many research interests but she is most interested in leader-follower relationships, organizational leadership, change management, leadership in sustainable organizations.
For positive social change, Dr. Fan is currently enrolled as a part-time student in a Counseling Psychology MFT Licensing Program at a local university to equip herself to work with the local communities towards preventive mental health care. Dr. Fan is also a research team member with a research team called HERD (Health & Ethics/ Racial Disparities) from a local university. The current research project is on parental sacrifice of Asian immigrant parents in the U.S. within the context of HERD.
