Eric Anderson has held administrative and faculty appointments at a number of universities. Prior to joining the ranks of contributing faculty, he served as Research Coordinator for the SON at Walden University. He decided to return to his first love in the (virtual) classroom as a teacher in 2015. Eric has served in various roles in higher education settings throughout the world, has worked extensively with first generation university students in the United States, and has been involved in the evolution of online learning since the 1990s. His primary research interest is in graduate/doctoral education, and professional practice areas of interest are in nursing administration and education. He regards his mentorship of doctoral students to be a major professional accomplishment, having made this a primary emphasis of his work over the last decade.
