Sarah Golden, Ph.D. earned her Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Walden University and her Master of Arts Degree in Counselor Education from Western Michigan University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a school counselor. Sarah’s professional background, experience, and research interests include crisis counseling, consultation, distance counseling, K-12 counseling in schools, mental health in the schools, program development, culturally responsive counseling, international work, and disaster and trauma response counseling. In addition to her professional experiences,Sarah is a volunteer with American Red Cross as a Disaster Mental Health Volunteer and has also collaborated with other organizations to do work in Rwanda, Africa.
