In 2006, Dr. Willis graduated from Northern Michigan University with a bachelor in Health Education and a minor in Social Welfare. In 2009, she received a Master’s degree in Health Administration/Education through the University of Phoenix. On September 13, 2013, she received her Doctorate in Health Administration (DHA) through the University of Phoenix. Dr. Willis’s dissertation topic is: College Risky Sexual Behaviors and the Attainment of Academic Success: A Qualitative Study.
Since August of 2014, Dr. Willis has been a member of both the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians Scholarship Committee and Health Advisory Board and is a researcher/writer for the Sault Tribe Health Division. Since February of 2014, Dr. Willis has been a professor of higher education online at Bryant & Stratton College and AT Still University, and has been in the position of Chair/Committee Member within Walden University since 2018. Dr. Willis has really grown to love teaching and mentoring students because it's so rewarding. Dr. Willis has taught multiple classes with healthcare management in mind, as well as performed course design geared toward healthcare.
