I am a Professor of Business, Management, and Marketing courses to undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students, work as a mentor for doctoral students, do curriculum development, coaching, and mentoring to over 60 faculty, and I am the President of a non-profit organization called The Association for Non-Traditional Students in Higher Education, ANTSHE for short (www.myantshe.org), that supports adult learners through resources, scholarships, and other events. I am a published author and continue to work to add to the field of academia through published articles etc. My book, The Nontraditional Student"s Guide to Success, is just the first of a series of books I am working on to assist non-traditional students.
I am a graduate of Capella University and earned a PhD. in Post-Secondary Adult Education and Training, and hold Post-Doctoral Certificates from Harvard University, Vanderbilt University, and MIT as well as studied at Walden University, the University of Oklahoma, and Norwich University. I am a Certified Post-secondary Instructor and have completed coursework towards a second Ph.D. in Organization and Management. I am a Maryland native, achieved the Sigma Beta Delta Business Honors and graduated from Frostburg State University. I hold an MBA in Management and Marketing.
I enjoy spending time outdoors with my wife and six children, our two grandsons and granddaughter. I also enjoy reading and learning about United States History, I am a die-hard Redskins fan, and like to watch classic movies. I am currently writing a follow-up to my first book, in addition, I am writing a Civil War book highlighting the exploits of two of my family members before, during, and after the Civil War.
