Rosanne DeConto began working with young children as a college student at Bridgewater State University’s laboratory school as an assistant in the preschool and kindergarten classrooms. She holds a B.S.Ed. in Early Childhood Education and English from Bridgewater State University and an Ed.D. (Educational Leadership) from Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI. She holds an educator's license for the states of Massachusetts (PreK - Grade 3) and New Jersey (PreK - Grade 6). Dr. DeConto was fortunate to teach preschool in college laboratory schools, working alongside both young children and college students; this led to a transition into teaching college courses. She has taught in higher education since 2004 and has experience teaching traditional, hybrid, and online courses. She has been a member of Walden’s contributing faculty since 2014.
