I was also assigned as the Navy's Director of Flag Officer Development, responsible for the Executive Development of the US Navy's ~300 Admirals. I have served on active duty for the past 24 years, and have been teaching online and in the classroom since 2005. I earned a Doctorate of Management (DM) from the University of Phoenix, an MS in Management from the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA, an MS in Education from National University, and a BS (with merit) from the United States Naval Academy. I am also a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR). I have contributed to social change in a couple ways. First, I coach a youth basketball team, not only teaching them them basketball skills, but also life skills, such as healthy relationships, treating all people with dignity and respect, and rejecting societal norms when it comes to sexism and objectifying women. Secondly, as a sexual assault prevention professional, I have trained over 70,000 sailors in culture change, and started a movement to change social norms called "Change the Culture."
