Dr Roger Wells
Dr Wells’ career was in both the UK and US where he served in various roles as an engineer, engineering manager, and in executive management positions. He progressed to executive management through his engineering roles in both the private and public sectors. At Walden University he teaches the PhD Management courses. Dr Wells has served on numerous doctoral student committees as chair and reviewer. Dr Wells uses experiences in his long career, which includes technical research and development activities to structure learning the prepares PhD students to become valuable members of the business community. Dr has written a book published SAE International where he analyzed and narrated the long 100 year journey taken by automotive manufacturers and legislative organizations to implement the safety standards and design rules that have resulted in dramatic reduction in passenger fatalities. Dr Wells is the holder of many patents related to automotive safety and has written and presented technical papers for professional associations.
