Dr. Robert Hayhurst retired after 26+ years of military service as a Lt Col, U.S. Air Force, Medical Service Corps in 2006. He continued his public service in 2007 as a civilian federal employee first with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and transferred to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security where he is currently employed. In addition to his military healthy administration experience, Bob has six years experience as Evening Administrator at a 500-bed Cancer Center in Houston, Texas and in his next position as Chief Operating Officer of a 150-bed community hospital in Los Angeles, California. He is married and has one son in college. His doctorate is in Education (Organizational Leadership) and holds five master's degrees and six graduate certificates in various academic disciplines. Currently completing a sixth master's degree (Juris Master in Health Care Regulations). Bob has taught in both traditional and online university formats since 1993.
