Dr. Palmer graduated from the University of California with a B.S. in Sociology, San Diego State University with an M.P.H. in Public Health and the University of Texas with a Dr.P.H in Community Health. After finishing his doctorate, he was awarded the Yerby Research Fellowship at Harvard University where he pursued post-doctoral studies. Dr. Palmer has over a decade of experience conducting public health demonstration projects and evaluation research. He has conducted evaluations in a variety of settings (i.e., medical clinics,worksites, recreational facilities, public housing) and for a broad range of public health issues (i.e., cancer, HIV/STD, physical activity, diet/nutrition, access to care).
