Rhonda Kazik received her DNP at Rush University in Chicago in June 2012. In addition to being a part-time faculty member at Walden in the School of Nursing, Rhonda has also taught health systems performance measurement, improvement and informatics at other colleges and universities holding contributing faculty positions at both Rush University and the University of Wisconsin - Madison's Schools of Nursing. Professionally, Rhonda is currently a System CNO at a large health care system. Previously, Rhonda held the position of Vice President, Patient Care Services at an acute care hospital. Rhonda has a number of publications and presentations on the topics of systems performance improvement, quality and patient safety, systems performance measurement and technology impacts, implementation and innovations for clinical care. Rhonda is a Licensed Registered Nurse in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Florida and California and has been active in nursing and health care over 30 years, holding leadership positions at acute care hospitals and health care systems in Madison and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in Cincinnati, Ohio and in California and in home health and hospice care in Madison, Wisconsin. Rhonda has also earned a Master’s degree in Administrative Medicine from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
