Dr. Wright received her MSW and PhD from the University of Utah. Her teaching areas include policy practice and analysis, practice with diverse population, and rural field education. She has over 10 years of face to face, hybrid, and online teaching experience and has taught at the BSW, MSW, and PhD levels. She is excited to teach for Walden's MSW program. Her primary research areas are reproductive health in rural settings, the use of emergency contraception, and reproductive autonomy. She has worked for refugee resettlement agencies and reproductive health organizations in program development and policy advocacy.
