Dr. Pat Thurmond is a highly skilled online and face to face educator with a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership; a Masters in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment; a Masters of Business Administration; and a Bachelors of Arts with a concentration in Business Administration. She has an outstanding record in teaching at the K-12 and college levels. She is a dynamic trainer and leader of faculty and students. She is also an exceptional communicator at ease with all authority levels, with diverse ethnic and cultural groups, and an accomplished administrator with extensive experience in leadership and team management. At Walden University, Dr. Thurmond oversees, evaluates, and maintain the quality and integrity of the PhD/EdD/EdS Curriculum, Assessment, and Instruction/Evaluation quarter-based programs; the M.S. in Higher Education program, and the Department of Research & Quality, for The School of Higher Education, Leadership, and Policy. She is a recipient of the Faculty Excellence Award at Walden University and the National Education Association’s Green Apple Award for her work in K-12 education.
