Dr. Patricia Brawley
Dr. Patricia Brawley's formal training is in Counseling and Psychology. She maintaines a private counseling and consulting practice. She has taught counseling and mental health courses in both online and brick and mortar schools. At Walden University, she teaches master's level mental health, marriage and family and school counselor courses. Dr. Brawley also supervises graduate students during their practicum and internship training. She has served on doctoral student's dissertation committees.

Dr. Brawley's current research interests focus on using the phenomenological psychological method to further understand the human condition. She has presented her research at numerous conferences including the American Psychological Association and the American Counseling Association. Dr. Brawley writes poetry and short stories. She has won awards and some have been published.
