Dr. Patricia Brawley
Dr. Patricia Brawley's formal training is in Counseling and Psychology. She has maintained a private counseling and consulting practice for over 25 years. She taught counseling and mental health courses in both online and brick and mortar schools. At Walden University, she teaches master's level marriage and family and school counselor courses. Dr. Brawley has served on doctoral student's dissertation committees.
Dr. Brawley's current research interests focus on using the phenomenological psychological method to further understand the human condition. She has presented her research at numerous conferences including the American Psychological Association and the American Counseling Association. Dr. Brawley writes poetry and short stories. She has won awards and some have been published.
