Dr. Patrice Bounds holds a Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Iowa, M.A. in Community Counseling, and B.A. in Psychology from Chicago State University. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC, IL), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, MI), and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Dr. Bounds has worked within the mental health profession since 2007 and has been a counselor educator since 2013. She is a member of the American Counseling Association, Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, North Central Association for Counselor Education and Supervision, and Chi Sigma Iota, Counseling Academic & Professional Honor Society International. Dr. Bounds has been a contributing faculty member for the School of Counseling since 2015, where she has taught courses within the counselor education and supervision doctoral program and clinical mental health counseling masters program.
