O. Danny Lee received his PhD in Nursing and Health Policy at the University of Southern Mississippi in December 2005. Dr. Lee is a board certified clinical nurse specialist and is certified as a nurse educator. He holds registered nursing licenses in Mississippi and Louisiana. He currently serves as a contributing part-time faculty in the Masters of Science Nursing Program since September 2011. Dr. Lee has previous teaching experience in undergraduate and graduate nursing education. Dr. Lee has taught research, policy, advance practice nursing roles, management, clinical education strategies, and various preceptor programs. Professionally, Dr. Lee has worked in quality management / utilization management / case management, critical care, cardiac, home health, and medical surgical nursing. Dr. Lee’s research interests include, men’s health, gender specific learning strategies, impact of policy and political activism on healthcare, nursing education, distant learning, and tele health. He has published and presented locally, nationally and internationally on a variety men’s health issues and topics.
