Dr. Nina Bell holds her MPH and PhD in public health from Walden University graduating in 2009 and 2011, respectively. She has been teaching in the online environment for 7 years, including full time work at Ashford University and part-time work at the former Argosy University. Her role at Walden falls under the PhD committee for the Health Education and Health Promotion area. She focuses on getting students through the dissertation phase of their academic career. She has worked in the field of public health for more than 20 years, primarily operating her own children's fitness program in both Pennsylvania (former home) and Colorado. She has also authored a textbook for public health students, "Community and Public Health" second edition. The book was published through the online textbook service known as Constellation. She and her husband Steve reside just outside of Denver with their three fur babies (three cats).
