Niko Tsatsos received his PhD in Molecular Biology/Biochemistry at the University of Minnesota in 2007. His current profession is a scientist in the field of genomics, and he has been working in the area of human diagnostics for nine years. Dr. Tsatsos is just beginning as a Contributing Faculty member at Walden in the College of Health Sciences. He teaches Biological Foundations of Public Health for the MPH Program. Dr. Tsatsos has also taught Molecular Biology previously at the University of St. Thomas as an adjunct professor. He has worked as a researcher in a variety of areas including nutrition, metabolism and endocrinology and has been the subject matter expert for all recent positions. He has a number of publications and continues to present at conferences nationally in his areas of expertise.
