Dr. Hanania has worked as a therapist and researcher. She has taught the following Walden courses: History and Systems of Counseling and Psychology, Practicum, Internship, Multicultural Counseling, Psychology and Social Change ,Advanced Grief Therapy , Substance Abuse Therapies, Cognitive Psychology, and Counseling and Psychotherapy Theories.
Her clinical expertise involved assessment and counseling for oncology patients and their families, as well as assessment and treatment of substance abuse patient through individual and group counseling. Worked with neurologically impaired patients within the framework of counseling, vocational assessment, and placement. Conducted personality, intelligence, and neuropsychological testing. Treated patients with a wide spectrum of psychological disorders such as obsessive- compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, depression, and schizophrenia.
