Dr. Shuler, LCDC, LPC is an Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University- Central Texas. Dr. Shuler engages in research related to the personal and professional development of counselors-in-training and integrating spirituality in counseling. Recent professional accomplishments include the publication of the text Transformational Learning Experiences: A Conversation With Counselors About Their Personal and Professional Developmental Journeys, which so co-edited with several colleagues, and the publication of her research titled The Impact of Transformational Learning Experiences on Personal and Professional Counselor-in-Training Identity Development. She currently maintains a small private practice in Austin TX and has over 10 year of experience working with a diverse population of individuals and families with addiction issues in a variety of settings. Dr. Shuler currently lives in Austin Tx with her husband and daughter and is having a great time working with students to further their education and professional development.
