Dr. Mashooq Salehin earned his PhD in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington in May, 2012. Since then, he has been teaching social work in both traditional and online programs. Mr. Salehin has served disadvantaged and minority population as professional social worker in southern California for three years after graduating with MSW from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in the Spring of 2005. His research interests are in the areas of social development, policy, sustainability, poverty and inequality. He lives in North Carolina with his wife and two daughters.
