Dr. Maryann Meniru is a Licensed Clinical Counselor with Supervision designation and core faculty at Walden. She has worked in numerous settings and has more than twenty years combined experience in teaching and clinical mental health practice. She has experience in working across lifespan including children, adolescents, young people, couples and families and has experience in management of anxiety and depression. She has lived and taught in several settings including academic institutions, hospitals and mental health agencies. Maryann Meniru has lived and worked as a counselor and lecturer in England, the United Kingdom, South East Asia and Nigeria. She received her doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from the University of Akron in 2013, and a Master of Science in Health and Psychology from Middlesex University England in 1994 and a Master of Art in Community Mental Health Counseling from Malone University in 2002.
