Anne White, PhD, RN is a Contributing Faculty of Walden University in the School of Nursing and a retired Captain in the United States Navy (Reserve Component). She earned her BSN from Florida State University (1975), MSN from Emory University (1980), and her PhD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (2000). Anne is certified as a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) through the National League for Nursing. She began her teaching career in 1990 and has presented nationally and internationally on innovative teaching strategies and simulation. Anne’s current research interests focus on documenting the effectiveness of innovative teaching strategies and the development of nurses as educators.
