Dr Marian Sebe has been a School Counselor for 15 years. She started out as an elementary school counselor, then transitioned to the high school setting. Through her school counseling career, she has run several specialty groups including grief support, anticipatory grief, social skills, and international student groups. Her school commissioned her to travel to China to help establish a sister school there as well.

Aside from working within the school setting, Dr. Sebe has also worked as a Mental Health Counselor focusing on grief issues at her local hospital. Through her mental health experience, Dr. Sebe has worked with individuals across the lifespan dealing with various traumas in their lives.

Dr. Sebe has special interests in working with veterans as well. Her dissertation focused on the reintegration of military individuals after deployment.

Dr Sebe graduated from Walsh University and Kent State University. She taught at Stark State College and Walsh University prior to joining Walden's staff. Dr. Sebe started with Walden University in 2016, as contributing, and 2019 as core faculty.
