Since completion of a Ph. D. in Administration and Supervision of Special Education at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia, Dr. Cramer has successfully taught special and general education in rural and urban settings utilizing collaborative and/or inclusive service delivery models. Dr. Cramer has also taught early childhood, special education, general education, and research courses online for a number of colleges and universities, with program and online course development responsibilities. Public school experience involved early childhood education, general education, and special education in elementary and secondary inclusive classroom settings. While working at the university level, Dr. Cramer has been involved with the development of online courses for an alternative licensure program, supervision of field-based practicum students, supervision of student teachers, university committee work, and Chair of a Head Start Advisory Board. She has also prepared a paper and presented at the American Council on Rural Special Education Conference on an annual basis and reviewed papers for the American Educational Research Association for a number of years.
