Dr. Mahaman Moussa has two Doctorates degrees. The first one is a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and the second one is a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). He also obtained a Bachelor in Science of Nursing (BSN) and Master in Science of Nursing/ Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN/FNP) from Winston Salem State University. Dr. Moussa is certified Family Nurse Practitioner by American Academy of Nurse practitioner (AANP). Dr. Moussa is currently serving as core faculty in the MSN/NP program at Walden University. During his nursing carrier he served as faculty in the MSN/NP program at Winston Salem State University. He Worked as FNP-C with Physicians Eldercare and served as RN and Charge nurse in ICU's at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He also served as Assistant Medical direction at Triad free health clinic, where he is providing free medical services to the underserved and uninsured patients in NC. Dr. Moussa’s International experiences include presentation at Prince Sultant Medical City, Riyadh Saudi Arabia, Hubei University of Chinese Medicine, China and University of Cape cost, Ghana. Dr. Moussa is President and CEO of Raouda Medical Center of Tahoua, Niger (Africa) where he also practicing as FNP. His research interest is on global health and health literacy. He is fluent in French, English and Hausa. Dr. Moussa was Laureate International Universities 2017 " Here for Good Award" honoree he also received Walden University 2017 Commitment to Social Change Award. He published many articles and one book on the impact of e-health on diabetes knowledge.
