Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

I have a DNP (Doctor of Nursing Practice) from the University of South Florida in Tampa where I focused on Nursing Education and developed computer module for undergraduate students as a part of my capstone evidence based project. My master's degree is from the University of Pennsylvania where I received my Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. My BS is from Radford University in Virginia. I have a BA in Political Science from Hunter College in New York and a law degree from SUNY Buffalo.

I have 19 years of academic experience. I have taught Nursing at the Associate, Bachelors, Masters, and DNP level. I have taught on line, hybrid and live classes. The majority of my experience is teaching traditionally as the "sage on the stage". However I have always used computer technology to supplement even these types of classes.

My interests in nursing are pediatrics, genetics, evidence based practice, and health policy. I have presented at National conferences on genetics, evidence based practice, and measuring the effectiveness of online learning.
