Dr. Lowrie, received her BSS from Penn State University, her MSW from Temple University and her Doctor of Social Work from Kutztown University and Millersville University. She is employed as Director of Advocacy and Consumer Relations for the The Bradley Center, a non-profit organization in Pittsburgh, PA. Her professional expertise is in children’s mental health, policy, regulation, and legislation. Dr. Lowrie volunteers locally and nationally for the American Red Cross. Her areas of research interest are disaster mental health, the culture of generational cohorts, technology and the social worker, and retention in the human services workforce. Dr. Lowrie enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing board games, listening to music, dancing to music, and traveling.
