Dr. Williams serves as the Program Coordinator of the Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Program at Walden University. She brings over 20 years of experience in providing nursing and advanced practice nursing care and more than ten years of teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level. She has taught at Brick and Mortar universities as well as Online Universities. Dr. Williams has a sincere passion for learning as well as teaching.
Dr. Williams has published articles, presented at the National and International level, and written test questions and chapters for Advanced Practice Nursing texts. Dr. Williams is a Certified test question writer for NCLEX. She is also on the editorial board for various healthcare journals and a member of several professional and community organizations. Her research interests include Health Promotion & Disease Prevention, Maximizing Vitality in the Gerontologic Patient, Diabetes & Hypertension, and Curriculum assessment & development for enhancing student success.
