Kristin Korinko
Dr. Korinko is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has worked in the fields of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, Mental Health, Education, and Applied Behavior Analysis for over 30 years. Dr. Korinko has taught Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis courses for over 25 years in the community, at Tallahassee Community College as an Adjunct Professor in the History and Social Sciences, and at Saint Leo University. Dr. Korinko is eager to join the Applied Behavior Analysis faculty at Walden University. Dr. Korinko has served on the Capital Area chapter of FABA as the Secretary and President. She has been a member of the Human Rights Advocacy Committee serving individuals at Florida State Hospital, Chattahoochee, FL. She has also served on two task forces through the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council (Abuse/Neglect prevention and Criminal Justice) to promote advocacy and awareness. Currently, Dr. Korinko is the Agency Senior Behavior Analyst for the state of Florida’s Agency for Persons with Disabilities. She also maintains a private practice in Tallahassee, FL.
Dr. Korinko's areas of subject matter expertise include: Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Human Development, Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities, Crisis Intervention, Disability Assessment, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Smith Magenis Syndrome, Adult Children of Alcoholics, Panic/Anxiety Disorders, Anger Management, Psychotherapy, Counseling, Supervision, and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing.
Dr. Korinko's areas of research methods expertise include qualitative, quantitative, and mixed method designs.
