Kia Russell

Dr. Kia Russell is a contributing faculty member with the School of Psychology. She earned her undergraduate degree from Sam Houston State University in Criminal Justice, Masters degree from Prairie View A & M in Counseling and her Ph.D. from Walden University in Forensic Psychology. Dr. Russell worked for the Harris County Juvenile Probation Department for over eleven years in the Mental Health Department, Court Services and the Excel Academy. She currently teaches Forensic Science at a local high school while also teaching on the collegiate level.
