Kevin Davies received his Ph.D. in Leadership of Higher Education from Capella University, his MBA from Rockford College, MS in School Business Management and BS in Communications from the University of Wisconsin. Before entering academia, he held various mid to upper level management positions with Harlem and Dundee Schools, City of Beloit, Blackhawk Technical College, American InterContinental University and Credit Union Executives Society. He has designed, developed and delivered business courses in doctorate, graduate and undergraduate programs as well as partnered on executive education programs with world-class universities. Currently, he is a board development consultant for associations and not-for-profits, as well as contingent faculty for Walden University in addition to volunteering for Boy Scouts, Church committees, the school district, and various boards. He also serves as a national reviewer for the American Council on Education (ACE) and ACBSP accreditation. His most recent community project is working with my son to establish zoning ordinances to allow for the placement of Little Free Libraries to serve the disadvantaged (Boy Scouts will build and install). Dr. Davies has research interests in not-for-profit board development, financial cooperative models (credit unions), change management, and retention issues. He has presented studies and authored numerous articles.
