Keren has been with Walden since 2009.

Keren spent 20 years in K-12 education as a teacher and administrator. Due to her passion for online education, she took early retirement and has focused on helping students get an education while continuing their personal and professional lives.

Keren Meister-Emerich has a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin, Parkside, master’s degree in Statistics from the University of Wyoming, and a doctoral degree from the University of Wyoming. Keren is a certified secondary teacher in Wyoming with endorsements in Mathematics and Computer Science. She has been a presenter at local, regional, national, and international conferences.

At Walden, Keren has taught Research Courses for Doctoral Students and served as committee chair, member, and methodoligist. She presented information about including APA in Course Feedback at a Walden National Faculty Meeting break-out session and has also presented at a poster session. She has reviewed articles for the Journal of Educational Research and Practice (JERAP).

Keren has served on many committees including: Wyoming Commission on Judicial Conduct and Ethics, Wyoming Women's Business Center Board, the Cheyenne 150 celebration steering committee, Cheyenne Botanic Gardens Board, Wyoming K-12 Mathematics Standards Review and Performance Level Descriptors Committee, Member of Association for Distance Education Board and Independent Learning (ADEIL) including serving as Treasurer for the Association, University of Wyoming College of Education Instructional Facilitator Research Work Group, Laramie County Community College Division of Business Advisory Board, North Central Accreditation Self-Study, and Wyoming Rural Development Council Community Assessor. Additionally, she is a Cheyenne Frontier Days Volunteer and a Leadership Wyoming Graduate.
