Dr. Kelley Lovati is a contributing faculty at Walden University in the BSBA and Dual Degree programs. She received her BSA and MSA degrees from Central Michigan University and a PhD in Management with a specialization in Leadership and Organizational change from Walden University. Kelley has a wide spectrum of experience in the work world. She has worked as a health educator in Public Health for both the state and local government as well as in a hospital setting. She has worked in “Corporate America” wearing many hats within real estate, as a Chief Operating Officer for an Executive Suite Office Building and as a Director of Events for the Macomb County Chamber of Commerce. Kelley’s current position is a Community Outreach Coordinator for McLaren Macomb Health System where she is also spearheading the organization’s Diversity and Inclusion Council and organizational initiatives. Dr. Lovati always finds herself happiest when educating others. She has been involved in many forms of teaching since grad school including: university, adult learning, community, workplace, corporate and finally – online. Kelley has an active membership in the American Management Association; participated in the Leadership Macomb Class XVII (2014) and Multicultural Leadership Training (2014). Dr. Lovati is actively engaged with community groups to stimulate social change in equity for all individuals. She actively engages with Welcoming Michigan, OneMacomb, Partnership for a New America, Macomb Act (Active Cultural Togetherness) and Race4Equity. Presentations on cultural competence and inclusion have been conducted for Leadership Macomb, Welcoming Michigan and Race4Equity.
