Dr. Karen Clark teaches in the area of special education at Walden University. She has been teaching in higher education since 2017. In addition to teaching at Walden, Dr. Clark also serves on doctoral capstone committees. Her primary area of research interest includes autism interventions in education. Dr. Clark started her career in K-12 public education more than 20 years ago before moving into higher education. She was nominated for Online Teacher of The Year in 2018 at a major research institution in Detroit, Michigan.
