Dr. Jovita Ezirim is a passionate psychiatric nurse practitioner that has devoted 90 percent of her professional life to the care of clients with mental illness and education of students in the field of mental health. She enjoys working with clients to attain and sustain best quality of life and with students to attain their self-actualization.
Dr. Ezirim has worked in the field of nursing for over 20 years. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from Walden University in 2015. She completed a psychiatric nurse practitioner post-graduate degree in 2014 at California State University, Long Beach and a Master’s in Nursing Education in 2009 at California State University Dominque Hill. Her areas of interest are mood and thought disorder.
Dr. Ezirim loves attending professional conferences. She is an active member of American Psychiatric Nurses Association, National League of Nursing, American Association of Nurse Practitioner, Neuroscience Education Institute, National Association of Nigerian Nurse Practitioners, and National Alliance on Mental Illness. She also enjoys spending time with her family and listening and dancing praise/worship songs.
