Dr. Vermillion has 30 years of leadership experience in human services at publicly traded organizations as well as in state government and nonprofit organizations and has taught in higher education part-time since 1994. She is an Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counselor (ICADC), a National Board-Certified Counselor, a Florida-licensed mental health counselor with a supervisor designation, a Florida-certified Masters-level addiction professional, a Pennsylvania educational specialist (secondary guidance counselor), and certified as a senior professional in human resources. Dr. Vermillion has published in national journals regarding quality, program evaluation, workforce planning, and Hoshin Planning. She has presented at conferences for various organizations that include the Association for Talent Development, National Association of Workforce Boards, the former National Association of Mental Health Administrators, and Southeast Evaluation Association.
