Dr. Jerri Post’s formal training is in nursing education where she has served in various roles over her 30+ year career. Dr. Post serves on the Quality and Safety for Nurses (QSEN) Academic Taskforce, is a board member of Sigma Theta Tau Iota Nu chapter, and is a member of several professional nursing organizations. At Walden University, she teaches in the RN-BSN program, primarily in the capstone leadership course. Dr. Post has served on 6 doctoral student dissertation committees and has chaired 1 dissertation committee.
Dr. Post’s current research interests focus primarily on education and caring. She has presented at numerous conferences including the American Association of College of Nurses (AACN) Master's Conference and Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI)/ National League for Nurses (NLN) Education Research Conference. Dr. Post has published 5 peer-reviewed articles with another article in review. In addition, she has written 7 grants with 4 awarded funding and one in review. Currently, Dr. Post is an active participant in three research studies.
