I currently reside in Indiana I hold a BA in psychology from the University of Michigan, an MA in psychology from Valparaiso University, and a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision from Western Michigan University. I attend conferences and training's on a regular basis and I am continually excited to learn more about the vast and intriguing world of counseling and professional helping. In addition to my career in academia, I have worked as a counselor in one capacity or another for the last 10+ years. I have worked in prison and jail settings, community agencies, and private practice providing individual, couples, family, and group counseling. I truly enjoy helping others and derive a great deal of satisfaction from my professional life.
