Jennifer Attonito has worked in public health, primarily HIV/AIDS since the early 1990s. She earned her Ph.D. from Florida Atlantic University at the Robert Stempel College of Public Health and Social Work, concentrating in health promotion and disease prevention. She has taught in higher education since 2003. Jennifer's research interests are in addictions treatment models, mental health, and the intersection between addictions and infectious diseases. Jennifer is an active member of the American Public Health Association and the American College of Healthcare Executives. She is presently a full-time faculty member in Health Administration at Florida Atlantic University. Jennifer's role at Walden is to mentor and guide health promotion doctoral students through their dissertation process.
