Dr. Jededia Higgins earned his Ph.D. in psychology from Walden University in 2018 and a Master of Science degree in community psychology from Lamar University in 2012. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army and and has worked in various roles in the mental and behavioral health fields since 2013. In addition to teaching at Walden, Dr. Higgins is a practicing behavior analyst who works for Texas's Health and Human Services Commission providing services to people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. His research interests include modern applications of social learning theory as well as contingency based models for avoiding groupthink.
