Jeanne L. Connors, Ph.D., obtained a doctorate in Cultural Anthropology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a minor in Rehabilitation Psychology and Special Education. She was born in Hillsboro, Wisconsin, was married for 13 years, and has three children, two daughters and a son, as well as four granddaughters. She currently lives in the Shawano, Wisconsin, area, close by the northern pine woods.
