I am Dr. Indira Maurer. I live in the beautiful, sunny state of Florida! I have been a nurse for 19 years. I am proud to serve as a Family Nurse Practitioner and work full time in a clinical setting providing primary and acute care. I earned my initial degree at Broward Community College where I earned my AS degree in Nursing. I then earned my BSN degree from the University of Phoenix. I went on to earn a MSN – Family Nurse Practitioner and another MSN – Health Care Leadership from Clarkson College out of Omaha, Nebraska. Finally, I obtained my DNP from Frontier Nursing University. Most of my nursing background was spent in the Labor and Delivery realm focusing on the care of the High Risk OB patient. My clinical experience includes high-risk obstetrical patient care, antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum care, and neonatal / newborn care. I have served as a clinical manager for a home health organization that focuses on high-risk obstetrical patients. Additionally, I have worked as a geriatric nurse, home health care nurse, and nurse educator! On a personal level, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our beautiful children! On my spare time, I enjoy cooking, baking, exercising and shopping. Dr. Maurer
