Dr. Hunter Nicholas serves as a contributing faculty member for the RN to BSN program at Walden University and as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Walden University's Competency-Based Tempo Learning program.

She received her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Touro University. She earned her Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) credential in 2018. In addition to teaching higher education, she works as a trauma program consultant.

Dr. Nicholas is a member of the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), the Society of Trauma Nurses (STN), and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).
