Dr. Griffin’s formal training is in healthcare administration. He has nearly 2 decades of professional experience working in and supporting the healthcare industry. His experience spans the following functional areas: post-partum and medical/surgical units, audiology, STD, long-term care, urgent/primary care, corporate education & training, and human resources. He then moved in to higher education positions which include instructor, Dean, Chief Academic Officer, and Chief Executive Officer/President. At Walden University, he teaches for the College of Health Sciences. Dr. Griffin serves on numerous doctoral student dissertation committees. Dr. Griffin’s current research interests focus on the disciplines of healthcare administration, public health, and public administration.
