George A. Zangaro received his PhD in Clinical Nursing Research at the University of Maryland in May 2005. He currently serves at the Dean for the School of Nursing at Walden University. He served as the Director of the National Center for Health Workforce Analysis in the Bureau of Health Workforce at the Health Resources and Services Administration and has served in this role since 2014. Previously, he was an Associate Professor and Director of Research at The Catholic University of America. He also served as Program Director for the Health Services Leadership and Management Program in the School of Nursing at the University of Maryland. Since 2008, he served as adjunct faculty in the School of Nursing at Walden University teaching in the masters and doctoral programs. In 2007, Dr. Zangaro retired from the U.S. Navy after 25 years of service.
