George Guida holds a Ph.D. in American Literature from the City University of New York, an M. A. in Film Studies from Queens College, and a B. A. in English from Columbia College, Columbia University. He has taught literature, composition, creative writing, film, ethnic studies and cultural studies for thirty years. He has been a Contributing Faculty Member at Walden since 2012. Guida is a widely published poet, fiction writer and essayist. His scholarly publications focus on Italian American literature and culture and on poetry.
