At Walden as part of adjunct faculty for nearly ten years, currently teaching primarily Informatics. Received PhD in Human and Organizational Development from Fielding Graduate University. Has a MS in Nursing Administration from Boston University and a Post Masters certificate in Nursing Informatics from Duke University. Currently is the Clinical Informaticist at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Boston. Recently has also been a Professional Development Specialist at Massachusetts General Hospital, working on the implementation of an electronic documentation system and then working with Partners HealthCare as part of their EHR implementation. Prior to that was an Informatics Nurse Specialist at Boston Children's Hospital, where primary responsibility was Clinical Reporting. At Boston Children's Hospital also held positions as staff nurse (PACU), nursing director( acute care and ambulatory), project director and clinical process architect. Participated in a 10-year project to migrate the paper medical record to an Electronic Medical Record.
